What it is
Two panes, one sealed air space
An insulated glass unit is two or more panes of glass held apart by a spacer, with a sealed air space between them. That gap slows heat moving through the window, so your home stays cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
When a unit fails or breaks, we replace it with a new one made to fit your frame. You can also upgrade to Low-E glass while we’re there.

What is insulated glass?

How can I tell if the seal is broken?
Look for fog or a milky haze between the panes, water drops inside the glass, or drafts around it.
