What's the difference between framed, semi-frameless and frameless?
A framed door has metal around every edge. Semi-frameless uses thicker glass with metal only where it’s needed. Frameless uses heavy tempered glass held by a few hinges or clamps. We’ll show you each at your estimate.
Should I get a sliding door or a swing door?
A slider is a good choice when there isn’t room for a door to swing open, and for wide openings and tubs. A swing or pivot door gives a cleaner look and a wider way in.
Can you put a glass door on my bathtub?
Yes. We build sliding and hinged glass doors for tubs and tub-shower combos, measured to your tub.
Do you build steam shower enclosures?
Yes. We build glass enclosures for steam showers, fitted to the space to hold the steam in.
Can you repair my shower door instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Loose hinges, broken handles, worn seals and sticky sliders can usually be fixed. We’ll tell you honestly which makes more sense.
How long does it take to get a new shower door?
Your glass is cut to order after we measure. Many customers have their new door within one to two weeks.
