How do your free same-day estimates work?
Call or send the quote form, and we’ll set up a time to see your project, often the same day. We measure, talk through your options and give you a clear quote. There’s no cost and no obligation.
Will I get a clear price before work starts?
Yes. After we measure, you get an upfront quote with no hidden fees. Nothing is ordered or installed until you’ve seen the price and said yes.
How much does a frameless shower door cost?
Every shower is different, so the price depends on the size of the opening, the glass thickness, the hardware finish and any protective coating you choose. The fastest way to a real number is a free measured estimate. You can also see our frameless shower enclosures.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa, as well as cash and check.
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes. Through Heroes Save on Glass, military members and first responders save on their glass project. Just mention it when you book your estimate. It can’t be combined with other offers, and some restrictions apply.

Since 2005. NB Glass comes from a family that has worked in glass for seven generations, and our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience to every job.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in New Braunfels and serve Comal, Guadalupe, Bexar, Hays and Blanco Counties, with a focus on New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Spring Branch, San Marcos, Seguin and Schertz, plus the smaller towns around them.
What are your business hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday visits are available by appointment only.

Shower doors, bath & mirrors
What types of shower doors and enclosures do you install?
Frameless, semi-frameless and framed doors, sliding and pivot doors, neo-angle enclosures, tub enclosures, steam shower enclosures and custom glass panels. We’ll help you choose the right build for your space and budget.
How long does it take from measuring to install?
Shower glass is custom-made for your opening, so it’s ordered after we measure. Many jobs are installed in about one to two weeks, and we give you a timeline with your quote.
Do you repair shower doors, or only install new ones?
Both. We fix loose or broken hinges, handles, seals and sweeps, and we can replace a single damaged panel when the rest of the enclosure is in good shape.
Can you remove an old glued-on bathroom mirror?
Yes. We take down glued-on mirrors carefully to protect your wall, then hang the new one with mirror-safe adhesive and secure hardware. See our bathroom mirrors.
Can you install oversized mirrors for a home gym?
Yes. We measure the wall, cut the mirrors to size and mount them securely, so you get a clean full-wall look with tight seams.
How should I clean a custom mirror?
Spray a gentle, non-abrasive glass cleaner onto a microfiber cloth, not onto the mirror. Keep liquid away from the edges, because moisture there can damage the silver backing over time.
Window glass repair
Why do my windows look foggy between the panes?
Fog or condensation between the panes means the seal on the insulated glass unit has failed and moisture has gotten inside. Cleaning won’t clear it, but replacing the sealed unit will.
Can you fix foggy glass without replacing the whole window?
In many cases, yes. If your frame is in good shape, we can replace only the sealed glass unit. It’s often a lot less than a new window. See window repair.
How can I tell if a window seal is broken?
Look for fog or moisture between the panes, a milky haze that won’t wipe off, or a draft near the glass. A room that’s suddenly harder to keep cool can be a sign too.
What is insulated glass?
Insulated glass has two or more panes separated by a spacer, with the space between them sealed. That sealed space slows heat transfer, so your home stays more comfortable and your energy bills stay lower.
How does energy-efficient glass help in Texas?
It acts as a thermal barrier that keeps summer heat out and cooled air in. That means lower cooling bills, a more comfortable home and less UV fading on floors and furniture.
What should I do if a window pane is shattered?
Keep people and pets away, and don’t pull out loose shards. Call us at (830) 625-6300. We’ll secure the opening, clean up the glass and fit a custom-cut replacement.
What are window glazing and glazing beads?
Glazing is the glass in a window and the material that seals it into the frame. Glazing beads are the thin strips that hold the glass in place. When they crack or come loose, the window can leak air and water, and we can replace them.
When should I replace the whole window instead of just the glass?
When the frame is rotted, warped or damaged, or the window won’t open, close or lock properly. If the frame is sound, replacing just the glass is usually the better value.

Can you make glass for an unusually shaped table?
Yes. We cut tabletop glass to almost any shape or size, with smooth, polished edges. Tempered glass is available for extra strength.
Do you install interior glass room dividers?
Yes. Glass partitions and room dividers separate a space while keeping it open and full of light. We measure, build and install them to fit.
